Analysing the adoption barriers for sustainability in the Indian power sector by DEMATEL approach

The present work analyses and prioritises the sustainability barriers in context of human organisational (HAO) dimensions Indian power sector. A total eleven were identified through detailed literature review, expert’s inputs, four groups. Further, decision-making trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) approach was used to analyse along with cause-effect relationship. study showed that there are five cause groups six effect group. most significant among them top management/stakeholders support commitment; lack green training awareness; policies practices for recruitment selection; performance, appraisal, reward; environmental knowledge, concern, attitude; adaptation linkage resource management (GHRM), supply chain (GSCM). emphasised need combine efforts from organisation government towards sustainability. managers decision-makers sector also focus on HAO aspects implementing
